1Overview

The Nigeria Digital Landing and Exit Card (LE-Card) is a digital immigration document used for border management on entering and leaving Nigeria. It replaces the old paper arrival and departure cards.

It is required whether or not a visa is needed.

Who needs it

  • Everyone entering or leaving Nigeria needs one, including visa-exempt travelers, ECOWAS nationals and dual citizens entering on a foreign passport; no one is exempt.
  • Visa-free status (for example ECOWAS citizens and countries with visa abolition agreements) only removes the visa requirement, not the card.
  • Each traveler needs their own, including children; parents or guardians may complete it for minors.
